WOULD EVERYTHING BE AWESOME?
The Lego Batman Movie just dropped their teaser trailer... and it looks badass. A totally different take on the character, as he has a very arrogant sense of humor that makes him kind of an asshole... but a lovable one, right? Well, he was like that on The Lego Movie... because he´s Batman.
As this is one of the most anticipated movies for 2017, and The Lego Movie was a gigantic success back on 2014 that, is it possible to make another "Lego Movie" of a popular character that makes the audience fall in love it? Hm, if there is one versatile brand that can make everything look cool, that´s Lego, guys!
So! Here are my five characters that would make (possibly) an extremely entertaining and appealing movie for everyone! Maybe... hell yeah, if they do it right, bring it on!

Hm, if there is one versatile brand that can make everything look cool, that´s Lego, guys!
So! Here are my five characters that would make (possibly) an extremely entertaining and appealing movie for everyone! Maybe... hell yeah, if they do it right, bring it on!
HAN SOLO
I suppose this scene up here brings on the tissues and the tears and the feels, right? Oh well, if you haven't seen the film by now, at least you should have heard, isn't that true? No spoilers, relax! Well, the thing is... Star Wars is back, and really alive. Han Solo had a wonderful comeback in the seventh episode of the franchise among others, like Chewbacca, Leia, R2D2 and C3PO.
Lego is fun. The Lego Movie is pure comedy. If there is one character with witty one-liners and a lovable douchebag personality, that is Han Solo ladies and gentlemen! "The Lego Solo Movie" with a poster with freakin´ Chewbacca and his best friend. THAT SOUNDS AWESOME. Fans all over the world would buy their ticket right away, and the casual moviegoer could be really tempted to experience something like that!
ROBIN
He may not be DC´s most respectable character (Jeez! remember Batman and Robin? Oh sorry, did not want to remind you of that piece of shit... yes, that's exactly what it is), but if there is one character that is extremely fun to mock... well, the weird colorful guy up there with The Caped Crusader!
How in the world is Robin a serious character? Unless you watch The Dark Knight Rises or you´re as elegant and intriguing as a Christopher Nolan character, there is almost no way to make Robin a dark and broody character. Comedy? Yes. As a parody? The guy´s already a joke. In a possible sequel of The Lego Batman Movie? That would be an excellent move. People may be exhausted of Batman, but Robin may be fresh air for everyone.
JOKER
Arguably the most famous and loved villain in the history of comic books and, in par with Darth Vader, cinema. A character that is so versatile that has been in interpreted in many different ways through decades and, just around a corner, a Suicide Squad movie where he is one of the stars of the eccentric show. Imagine just a movie of him and his messed up plans with the world as he only wants to watch it burn. Kids would love it.
Messing up with The Dark Knight, making up his jokes with everybody, playing some brutal games in Gotham... even having a good time with her twisted and beautiful (oh, isn't she?) significant other half, Harley Quinn. There are so many directions and so many amazing features to discover and have fun with the Joker, that it would be tragic to make it a failure.
GANDALF
YOU... SHALL NOT... PASS! If you read it on his voice, I like you a lot. So! Wizards are cool, right? With their magic staffs, and flashy special effects all over the place (oh don´t gent me wrong, their insanely awesome), and eternally quotable one-liners, this guy is the perfect funny and risky return to Middle-Earth.
As Middle-Earth is such a diverse place, and Gandalf is extremely interesting to explore (and let´s not forget, badass), this would be a bold but valuable move for the "Lego franchise". Still not convinced? Okay, remember back in Lego Movie where Gandalf and Dumbledore were sharing the same freaking screen? Because I swear that more than one joyful fanboy scream was heard in the theaters... such a cool moment. So yeah, a movie about Gandalf and even a more bold move by doing a crossover with Dumbledore, an original screenplay would be candidate for the Oscars! Ok, too far... but hey, it would be fucking cool.
SHERLOCK HOLMES
As Robert Downey Jr. may be stepping back from being Ironman in the Marvel Universe (WHAT?! well it´s true, check out his most recent news and interviews, we´re all sad), his unique sense of humor would fit perfectly with one of the most famous detectives ever. He would be the perfect cast choice, as he interpreted the character twice and, given his entertaining voice, making fun of his action-live character would be a great place to start. You may say Benedict Cumberbatch would be perfect also, but... I´m sticking with the fun here, not that I´m assuming he wouldn´t bring some laughs, though!
It may not be the "big money film", but a character that goes through so many adventures like Indiana Jones and James Bond and the fact that is gaining more popularity with the ongoing TV show, making a movie of only him resolving cases where is not only fun, but also brainy and heartwarming as he shares a special bond with his closest friend, this idea would possibly surprise fans and casual moviegoers.
Is there anything Lego can´t do?
