Spoiler Thoughts on SUICIDE SQUAD!

INSANE, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS

How to make a villain relatable? Do criminals deserve mercy? Once again, an extremely divisive DC movie among critics and fans, and for the first time... I'm actually in the positive side. Many call this film as "another cheesy generic product of the bunch". I call it a "bold and unique story of damaged guys trying to get redeemed". Even though it goes to ambitious levels by the end of the film, the story feels claustrophobic within the complex psyche of the characters and their personal insecurities. That's the whole point. Despite its generic plot points, it feels different.

That's what makes this movie, despite the flaws, beautiful: a world of chaos and no real good guys. One where people fight their demons in order to avoid the nonredeemable state of pure evil. How? Let's talk about it!

THE JUNGLE BOOK - Movie Review

WHEN THE REMAKE IS BETTER!

Remakes don't often work. Sometimes is just a complete failure. But there are some films that make the exception. This year's The Jungle Book is one of the most risky Disney projects among other previous live-action adaptations, such as Cinderella, Maleficient, and Alice in Wonderland. However, as much as they had successful results at the box office, they didn't quite generate enough love globally. Some have been average, some good, but neither really great. Can The Jungle Book break the "curse"?

HOSTILE BORDER - Movie Review

"THERE IS NO IN BETWEEN"

You're either good or bad, right? Hm. This is the story about an immigrant named Claudia who gets deported from the U.S and is sent to Mexico to live with her father, who doesn't have a good relationship with his daughter. Claudia has the desire to make it back to her supposed homeland with her mother through hostile borders, but she must overcome personal conflicts through her journey that would test her the woman she really is: a criminal... or not.

Very few times is the independent film that feels like a big-budget one, specially a good one. Well, Hostile Border or Pocha: Manifest Destiny manages to be a well-told story with deep themes and one that features one of the most interesting and grounded female characters in the past few years. Emotional, intense, well-acted, and with controversial yet real subjects conveyed, this is one of the most impressive independent films with its tight script and direction. Here are the highlights of the movie!

SUICIDE SQUAD: Lo Mejor del Trailer #2!

BALLROOM BLITZ!

This movie looks... just... beautiful.

Because, you know... the voices. Además, básciamente un 90% de las tomas en el trailer dan mucho de qué hablar (en serio, ver a Captain Boomerang pelear sosteniendo un muñeco de unicornio... you don´t see that shit everyday). Así que bueno! Lo más destacado a continuación! Evil vs... worse evil, I guess? Suena excelente.

FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM: Lo Mejor del Teaser Trailer!

*INSERTAR HEDWIG THEME*

You´re a wizard, Hawking... *ejm* perdón, Newt Scamander. Pues sí! El mundo mágico está de vuelta! Y esta vez... en New York (?). Hm, that's a little bit weird, isn't it?

Like seriously.

Rogue One (Star Wars) y Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them contando historias más allá de sus fronteras... looking awesome. Aunque no mucho se puede deducir del trailer, lo más destacado a continuación!

DEADPOOL (Movie Review)

MOCKERY AT ITS FINEST

The regenerate degenerate. The story about a guy who has an insane fucked up sense of humor and even got more fucked up by a guy named Francis (oh, you dick), and he seeks revenge and the love of his perfect significant other, Vanessa. This guy is Wade Wilson, the Merc with a Mouth, the perfect Valentine´s day date, the most honorable superhero of all time. Right?

Well, look at him below. I guess he would give you a slightly different answer. One of the most anticipated movies of 2016... and oh my God, did this deliver! Both critics and audiences have praised it. These are my thoughts on Deadpool. I freaking loved every single minute of it. Why?
